Quantum physicist Victor Burrough is kidnapped from hiding and sent on an urgent mission with an elite SEAL team lead by Lieutenant Shepard to deactivate Victor's NOVA device that was thought to have perished in an incident years ago, by which both Victor and his brother Cross were believed to have died. The mysterious terrorist cell sets the stage for Victor to not only deactivate the device amidst violent combat but to unravel the identity of those responsible for stealing his energy breakthrough technology and using it as a weaponized EMP.
